Marilyn Laverdiere

Laverdiere- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit in Sarnia on Sunday March 15, 2026. Marilyn Joyce Laverdiere, age 87 years of Corunna. Much loved wife of the late Francis “Frank” Laverdiere (2024). Loving mother of Delos MacDonald and his wife Lissa of Petrolia, Sue MacDonald of Corunna and Noelle McCormick and her husband Craig of Chatham. Marilyn was the treasured grandmother of 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Muriel Robertson. She will be fondly remembered as an avid and competitive Bridge player. She and Frank enjoyed spending many of their winters in Florida and could often be found out dancing their time away at many different venues. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Bluewater Health Oncology Department or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
