Crawford- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Wednesday July 31, 2024. Della Marie Crawford, aged 78 years of Corunna. Much loved mother of Ernie Crawford (Deb) of Gravenhurst, Shelly Perkins and Cindy Crawford both of Corunna. Loving grandmother of Kaitlyn, Kyle, Brad (Heaven), Matthew and Sadie (Lyle) and cherished great-grandmother of Kiara and Sophia. Della was the loving sister of Bill Oke (Cathy) of Mooretown. She was a special aunt to Shannon Bartley (Curtis) of St. Thomas and Nicole Kostanski (Peter) of Blenheim. She was predeceased by; her parents, Bill and Annie Oke; her brother, John Oke and by her sister, Diane Archer. Della was a retired custodian from L.K.D.S.B. who enjoyed spending her time with her family and could often be seen at the Point Edward Casino. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Tuesday August 6, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Deanna Gibson officiating. A private family interment service will follow in Moore-Union Cemetery, Mooretown. In lieu flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Lung Association or to Bluewater Health Foundation.   1. Much sympathy to the family. Della was a very special lady to me and I’m so happy that I got to know her and help her out. I’m so sad to hear she has passed. Between delivering to her and cutting her hair, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Della so well. I will miss her dearly.

  2. My condolences to the whole family, she was a great lady who will me sorely missed. Someone once told me this and maybe it will help. “It’s okay to have bad days because it reminds you how much you love them, and the good days remind you they’re right there with you.”

Della and I had many long distance calls over the past 6 years and I will dearly miss that. She was such a sweet, caring lady.
