Alice Quinn

Quinn- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia on Sunday March 16, 2025. Alice Marie Quinn, aged 88 years of Froomefield. Loving wife of the late James Percy Quinn (1983). Much loved mother of Gary Quinn (late Dorene), Rick Quinn (late Dora), John Quinn (Debbie) and Brian Quinn (Joanne). Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Alice was the loving sister of Margie Webster (late Jim), Charlie Muxlow (Sue), Bob Muxlow (Zedina), Jim Muxlow (Evelyn), Donnie Muxlow (late Bonnie), Mary Croteau (Andy) and William Muxlow. Alice will be fondly remembered by her extended family, including Sharon and Dan D’Andrea, Barb and Ray Leblanc and Ed and Inge Novakowski. She was predeceased by; her daughter, Helen South (2007); her son, Tim Quinn (2014); her brother, Ron Muxlow (1979) and by her dear friend Ed Novakowski (2016). Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday March 20, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday March 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Stewart Chute officiating. Interment will follow in Froomefield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Sarnia Organ Donor Awareness (SODA) or to the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit.     I always remember Alice and Papa (Ed Novakowski Sr.) at every family occasion whether a holiday dinner or birthday party. Lots of good times at Suncor Park too. Even after Papa was gone she was still present at these events always in a good mood and smile on her face. She was great to talk with and quick-witted with her comments. Our condolences go out to all of her family. Alice will be missed for sure. Rest in Peace.

  13. I was so saddened to hear of Alice’s passing. I considered myself fortunate to have her as a friend over the past few years. I enjoyed playing bingo at her house on Tuesday nights. She always made me feel welcome there. Condolences to her whole family. RIP sweet lady. You will be missed.
