deRoos- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Alyce deRoos, aged 82 yrs of Corunna. Much loved mother and grandmother of Bryan deRoos and his wife Christine and their children, Christopher and Candy, the late Barry deRoos (2009) and his children, Taylor, Connor, Austin and Tara, Debbie Shaw and her husband Greg and their children, Derek and Dayna and Brenda Wilson and her husband Dave and their children, Lauren and Nash. Alyce is also survived by her daughter-in-law Karen deRoos. She was predeceased by her husband Jack (2001) and by her brother, Pouwel Bruins. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Tuesday April 16, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Ian Marnoch officiating. Cremation has already taken place and a private family interment service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Arthritis Society or to the Charity of One’s Choice.
