Parker- Peacefully at Bluewater Health-Sarnia on Tuesday May 13, 2014. Arthur Neil Parker, age, 92 years of Corunna. Beloved husband of the late Jean Parker (2012). Loving father of Eloise Cowan and Shirley Frey both of Sarnia. Dear grandfather of Graham Cowan (Brenda), Kathy Blondin (Ray), Michael and Jennifer Frey and great-grandfather of Miranda, Jamie and Spencer Cowan, Matt, Kyle and Aaron Blondin and Alisha Frey. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Art was predeceased by; his sister, Violet Galloway (Ed); his brothers, Harold Parker and Clarence Parker (Eleanor) and by his parents, Ernest and Roberta Parker. Art was a life long resident of Moore Township who was passionate about his family, playing cards, camping and wintering in Florida. He was a life long member of Corunna United Church and was the caretaker of Froomefield Cemetery for many years. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday May 15, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Rev. George Bell officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to Corunna United Church or to the charity of one’s choice.
