Peacefully at her residence on Wednesday December19, 2012. Betty Quinn, age 95 years of Corunna. Loving mother of Ted Quinn of British Columbia, David Quinn and his wife Cathy of Kincardine, Karen Block and her husband Dan of Corunna, Dale Jones of Long Beach, Mississippi and Jack Quinn and his wife Jenny of Sarnia. Betty will be fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Maxine Quinn of Sarnia, her 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Albert of Corunna, Tiny Knudsen (Jack) of Corunna, Evelyn Kilbreath of Sarnia and Betty Murphy of St. Thomas. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Quinn (1979) and by her sisters, Alice McDuff, Grace Scott and Jean Holland. Betty loved bright colours, flashy jewellery, gardening and life. We will all miss her. She worked for over 40 years at Corunna Restaurant, was a member of the Corunna Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Courtright Seniors. In keeping with Betty’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will take place in the spring of 2013. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Church Building Fund or to the Corunna legion Ladies Auxiliary.
