It is times like these that there are no words to share that will console those who knew and loved Bonnie. Many thanks to Bonnie for the bond she developed with my sister when she really needed family in her life. I wish I had known her better and was able to spend more time with her and Gerald. Their visits to NS to visit with friends and family were always fun. I will always remember that she brought a smile to my face when we met and I would torment her something awful. We had a running joke between the two of us about her putting her curlers in too tight – sometimes she would laugh and sometimes she would get cross – regardless I would smile and she would too. We talked a fair bit on the phone to catch up on family and such and when possible through FB too. Condolences to Bonnie’s children and family and to Jamie and Allie and their families. Rest in peace Bonnie. Your brother once removed – Stephen.
Dave, Sharron and Donna and families,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear sweet mom. I have many memories of the good ole Bright’s Grove days. May the many memories you have help you through this difficult time. RIP Bonnie
My deepest sympathy to the whole Yorke family. She will always be near in your treasured memories of her.
Donna, Sharron and Dave, my sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful Mom. I know it must have been very difficult these past few months. I have such fond memories of your Mom always being cheerful and friendly towards me when I frequently came to visit Donna as a teenager and we loved playing euchre. I also recall how sassy Donna was towards her Mom who would giggle and accept that us teenagers were sometimes unkind towards our parents. Now later in life I see so many of her characteristics in Donna who I know loved and valued her Mom as a precious treasure. May your Mom rest in peace and God bless you all.
