Christine Levitt
July 10, 1968 – June 2, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Levitt on June 2, 2026, at the age of 57.
Christine was a devoted mother, loving partner, cherished daughter, sister, friend, and a source of light to everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, patience, compassion, and the unconditional love she gave so freely throughout her life.
Christine is lovingly remembered by her son, Griffin (Emily); her daughter, Savanna (Drew); her loving partner and best friend Brandon; her mother, Nancy; her brother, Jason (Denise); nephew Max and nieces Paige and Peyton and many extended family members, friends, and coworkers whose lives were enriched by knowing her. She was predeceased by her father, Cliff. Christine will also be greatly missed by her dogs Nova and Beth and her cats Tulo and Marj.
Christine took great pride in her career. She worked as a Ward Clerk and Health Records Technician at Bluewater Health, where her dedication, professionalism, and caring nature touched countless patients, families, and colleagues. Following her transplant journey, she began working at McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home, where she found renewed purpose, comfort, and joy. She deeply valued her coworkers and the meaningful work she was able to do there.
A woman of strong faith and spirituality, Christine loved Jesus and found comfort in her relationship with God throughout her life. Her faith shaped the way she lived: with gratitude, grace, forgiveness, and love. She encouraged those around her to appreciate life’s blessings, to love themselves, and to extend unconditional love to others.
Christine found happiness in the simple and beautiful moments of life. She gained a new lease on life after receiving a double lung transplant in 2015. She enjoyed staying active, working out, walking her beloved dogs, decorating her home, watching her favorite television shows, and sharing laughter with the people she loved. She had a special gift for finding beauty in everyday life, whether in a flower, a conversation, or a quiet moment spent with family and friends.
To those who knew her best, Christine was more than her accomplishments. She was a safe place, a gentle spirit, a steady source of encouragement, and a loving presence who always put others before herself. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support will be remembered forever.
While our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Her legacy of faith, love, gratitude, kindness, and strength will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
Christine will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Visitation will be held at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Kelly Bell. Private family interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Women’s Interval Home or Sarnia Organ Donors Awareness (SODA).
“Though she has left our sight, she remains forever in our hearts. We will carry her love, her laughter, her faith, and her lessons with us always.”*

Dear Christine’s Family,
We are so saddened to hear of Christine’s passing. Our deepest condolences go out to all of you during this difficult time.
When we moved here, Christine welcomed us with open arms and immediately made us feel at home. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine care for others were gifts that she shared so freely. I will never forget how much that meant to us.
Christine and I also shared a special spiritual connection that I will always treasure. Some of my fondest memories are of our walks together, talking about life, and the deeper things that connected our hearts. Those conversations brought comfort, wisdom, and joy, and they are memories I will cherish forever.
Christine touched so many lives with her beautiful spirit, and I feel incredibly grateful to have known her. While words cannot ease the pain of losing someone so loved, I hope it brings some comfort to know how deeply she impacted those around her.
Our thoughts, prayers, and love are with your family during this time. May you find peace in the cherished memories you shared with Christine and in the lasting legacy of love she leaves behind.
With our deepest sympathy,

Dear Christine’s Family,
I am so saddened by Christine’s passing. I’m sad for all of you because I know that you have lost a very special person. I knew her as energetic and funny, kind, caring, wild and free and loads of fun to be with. I’m sure you knew her as all of things and so very much more.
I thought you might enjoy hearing about a moment in her life that you may have never heard about. It was a summer of blissful fun and youthful freedom.
We met at LCCVI. When school finished in 1985, my family moved to Milton. Christine and I decided that I wasn’t going. 🤭 I’m pretty sure it was her idea for me to just stay. That simple! lol I told my family I wasn’t moving to Milton and we had the summer of our lives together! She was so much fun!
I stayed with her and sometimes other friends. We had handsome boyfriends with nice cars and we were so happy! It was a beach party kind of summer.
Of course Labour Day came and it came to an end. My father called. He said to come home or he was coming to get me himself.
The tears flowed.
The four of us piled into my boyfriend’s car and made the drive to Milton singing our hearts out to radio the whole way. Oh what a trip it was. We laughed so hard. We reminisced and we promised to always be the 4 musketeers.
Of course we all moved on from that summer of fun and freedom but I have often thought of her and our magical summer with so much fondness. She was beautiful inside and out and I’m so sorry that she’s been taken from you so soon.
May God hold you in your grief and may she rest in peace. 🙏🏻

A journey remembered
as some people
journey through life, they leave footprints
wherever they go—footprints of kindness
and love, courage and compassion, humor
and inspiration, joy Even when they’
re gone, we can still look back and clearly
see the trail they left behind
A trail bright with hope that invites us
to follow.
Praying you’ll be comforted
with precious memories
The Lord knows knows your pain you feel the grief you carry the tears you cry the memories you cherish the comfort you need the strength you require

Griffin and Savanna. I am so very sad to hear of Christine’s passing and my deepest condolences to you, Nancy and all those who loved her and will grieve her loss.
I first met your mom 37 years ago and although we did not speak often in recent years, the times we did were a reminder of what a beautiful person she was. She always possessed a joyful, peaceful spirit, even when dealing with some of lifes hardest challenges, which she no doubt gained through her faith and relationship with Jesus.
I pray that you and those who loved her will find comfort in your memories and in the promise of our Saviour, knowing she is at peace in paradise.
