Whitehead- Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Monday June 14, 2010. Ed Whitehead aged 67 years of Corunna. Beloved husband of 20 years to Sharon. Loving son-in-law of Mildred Hancock and the late Mirn (2002). Ed will be forever missed by his companion Morris. He was predeceased by his parents Reginald and Elizabeth Goodacre. He was an avid Sarnia Sting fan and supporter and was retired from CSX Railroad after 38 years of service. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Wednesday June 16, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Fr. Paul Woolley officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in Parkhill Cemetery.
