Willis- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Monday November 10, 2014. Helen Donna May Willis, age 74 years of Sarnia and formerly of Corunna. Beloved wife of 51 years to Richard Willis. Loving mother of Kelly (Paul) Brown and Kim McMahan. Cherished “Nan” to Emily Rodrigues, Abby Brown and Cameron and Danica David who have always been her pride and joy. She was also a step-nan to Nicki (Luke) Ringler and their children Austin, Ella and Audrey; Jordan (Danielle) Brown and Brooklyn and Reanne Brown. Helen is also survived by; her mother, Dorothy Davidson; her sister, Doreen (Bill) Carruthers and her brother, Bill (Joanne) Davidson all of Chatham; her brother, Larry Davidson of Alberta; her sister-in-law, Nancy (Charles) McIntosh of Ridgetown as well as numerous nieces and nephews from all over Canada. She was predeceased by; her father, Andrew “Scotty” Davidson; father-in-law, Arthur Willis; mother-in-law, Helen Willis and by her step-mother-in-law, Dorothy Willis. After a lifetime of illnesses and winning she was finally beaten by cancer. She left earth to take her place in heaven where she will smile down on all of those whose lives that she touched during her lifetime through kindness or with her sense of humour. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway Corunna, on Wednesday November 12, 2014 from 2:00 -4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Deanna Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Corunna. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia or to the charity of one’s choice.     So sorry about Helen. Me and my family will never forget her and her joy for life . We always had fun when we came to visit with lots of laughs and sometimes we even came home with her soup . which was always an extra good treat . but most of all it was just nice to have a fun filled day with lot of laughing .
