Goodman- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Tuesday February 26, 2019. Hilda Mary Jane Goodman, aged 92yrs of Corunna. Beloved wife for 68 years to the late Donald “Benny” Goodman (2017). Much loved mother of Wayne Goodman (Karen), Brian Goodman (Judy) and Sheila Mitchell (Bob). Treasured grandmother of Mark (Kellie), Lisa, Krista, Jamie, Sarah and Michael and great-grandmother of Tai. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Hilda was predeceased by; her parents, Charles and Emma Lockrey; her brothers, Frank, Norm and Bob and by her sisters, Renelda “Sis” and June. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday February 28, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Rev. Ian Marnoch officiating. Interment will follow at Moore-Union Cemetery, Mooretown. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to Knox-Moore Presbyterian Church or to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. We are so sorry for your loss. We have know your parents for many years and at one time lived about three doors away. We also had the same type of dog for awhile. Brian and Mike chummed at that time also. Your Mom was always so friendly and a happy lady, as was your Father. Great people.
