Dear Pauline and family. We are truly saddened to learn of Hugh’s passing. I had a long history of working, laughing and scrapping with Hugh. We shared many journeys from Corunna to the plant together with Jerry Stewart which gave us many opportunities to debate work and world issues, most of which we seldom agreed upon. He will truly be missed by many.

  28. Dear Aunt Pauline, Michelle, Stephanie, Nadine, and family:
With a heavy heart, I remember Uncle Hugh’s kindness, humour, and wisdom. His wonderful sense of humour and infectious laughter had a way of making every gathering more joyful. I especially recall our conversations (usually about sports or school) at so many family gatherings, some he hosted with Aunt Pauline, and his much-appreciated, well-researched advice on big purchases or upcoming trips—a true reflection of how deeply he cared for those around him. He leaves a tremendous legacy of love, laughter, and thoughtful guidance.
