James Howard Cowan

Cowan- Peacefully gone home to be with the Lord at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia after a long battle and a short stay while surrounded by his loving family on Sunday May 27, 2012. James Howard “Oz”, “Blue”, “Jimme” Cowan, age 69 years of Mooretown. Beloved husband of 12 years to Lana. Loving father of Graham Cowan and his wife Brenda of Corunna, Kathy Blondin and her husband Ray and Jesse Campbell all of Sarnia. Dear grandfather of Miranda, Jamie and Spencer Cowan and Matt, Kyle and Aaron Blondin. Treasured brother of Joyce Miller of Sombra, Diane Fleckie and her husband Bill and Ruth Ann Spicer and her husband Ernie all of Corunna. He will be sadly missed by; his mother-in-law, Melba Dudley of Brigden, his brother-in-law, Lorry Tigner and his wife Heather of Petrolia and by numerous nieces, nephews, family friends and Nikki and Buddy Too! He was predeceased by his parents Howard “Oz” and Aileen Cowan and by his brother-in-law Bruce Miller. A celebration of life for Jim will be held at Parkway Pentecostal Church, 551 Murray Drive, Corunna on Saturday June 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to Parkway Pentecostal Church Building Fund.   1. Lana, I am so sorry for your loss. I know too well the journey you are travelling. Take comfort in your memories and take one day at a time. I am sorry that I will be unable to attend Jim’s memorial service, my thoughts and prayers will be with you.
