Russell- Peacefully surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Thursday January 5, 2012. Judith Marilyn Russell (nee Patterson) age 67 years of Corunna. Judy was born May 9, 1944 in Ottawa, Ontario and is predeceased by; her parents, Orville and Hilda Patterson; her sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Ralph Sisson; her brother, Bill Patterson and by her infant son Bruce Russell. Judy was the love of Ed’s life for 43 years and is the proud mother of David Russell and Natalie (Mike) Stokes and is the adoring “Grammie” to Abigail, Jocelyn and Emily Stokes. She is the much loved sister to Elaine (Alain) Wilson of Richmond and dear sister-in-law to Patti Patterson of Ottawa. She will be missed by her cousins Shirley and Bob Howard of Ottawa and Doug and Valerie Eastman of London. Judy is also survived by her mother-in-law Doris (Peter) Lusick of London. Aunt Judy’s memory will be cherished by her nieces and nephews as they recall their great adventures together. Judy had many dear friends who would agree that her presence made life easier for everyone around her. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home 588 St. Clair Parkway Corunna on Tuesday January 24, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 25, 2012 with Rev. George Bell officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Clinic or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Ed: We were so sorry to her about Judy. We had heard that she had gone into hospital but did not realize how serious this medical condition was at the time. Know that our prayers are with you and all your children and grandchildren. Ed you are in our thoughts. God bless.
