Murphy- Peacefully at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia on Monday September 29, 2014. June Elaine Murphy age 78 years of Corunna. Beloved wife of 59 years to Jim Murphy. Loving mother of Colleen Wearne (David) of Windsor, Lorrie Murphy of London, Neil Murphy (Joan) of Windsor and devoted guardian of Kathleen Creighton (Nick Pranger) of Guelph. Dear grandmother of Dana, Garrett, Zachary, Clayton, Joshua, Rylan, Evan and Kayla and great-grandmother of Autumn and Audrey. June is also survived by her brother Allan Grealis of Toronto. She was predeceased by her brothers Roy Grealis and Wilson Grealis. June was a long time member of Corunna United Church and was active within many organizations including the I.O.D.E., C.N.I.B., and Canadian Cancer Society. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday October 2, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Corunna United Church on Friday October 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. George Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Froomefield Cemetery.
