Richardson-Kennedy- After having lived her life to the fullest, Laura Rebecca Richardson-Kennedy, age 90 years of Courtright passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Sunday January 26, 2014. Loving mother of Janet Glenn and her husband David of Sarnia, Ann McClemens and her husband Rick of Mooretown and Lori Fisher and her husband Steve of Courtright. Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Brenda, Julie, Chris, Amanda, Kelly, Jeremy and Mike and great-grandmother of Emily, Sarah, Violet, Nicholas, Spencer and Blakey. Laura was also a loving step-mother to Reg Kennedy of Corunna, Mark Kennedy and his wife Nicole of Petrolia and Kyla Kennedy and her husband Mike of Corunna and step-grandmother to Brooklyn, Mitchell, Jarrett, Eryn and Meghan. She is also survived by her brother Don White of Sarnia. She was predeceased by; her son; Teddy (1960); her husbands, Rutherford Richardson (1983) and Calvin Kennedy (1998) and by her grandson Derek Fisher (1999). A special thank you is extended to Dr. Glen Maddison and the support staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia for the exceptional care and personal support given to Laura and her family during these last 2 weeks. As per Laura’s request a private family funeral service was held with Laurel Pattenden officiating and interment followed in Froomefield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may express sympathy through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia or to Child Life C/O London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital, London.   2. Girls, I am saddened to read of your mom’s passing. She was truly one of the sweetest women I ever knew. I remember as a child when she would come to my dad’s garage to get her car serviced and often Dad (Dean Core) would take her to the house to visit with my mom (Lorna)
