Robbins– After a life well lived, our mom passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, on Thursday June 29, 2023. Ruby Kathaline Robbins, age 92 years of Corunna. Beloved mother of Linda (Don) Gordon, Cathy (Dave) Johnson and Lorie (Dan) La Belle and mother-in-law of Pat Robbins. Ruby was a treasured grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and a loving sister of Joyce Krohn. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by; her husband, Archie (2000); her sons, Larry (1950) and Garry (2020); her special friend, Fred Courtney (2019); her sister, Doris Hayward (1976) and by her brother, Bobby Sinclair (1937). Mom often mentioned how blessed she was to have the family she did. She enjoyed living at Thompson Gardens for 20 plus years and made many great friends. A special thank you is extended to Village on the St. Clair and to Bluewater Health for the excellent and compassionate care mom received.  In keeping with the Ruby’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at the Corunna Legion 352 Albert St. Corunna on Sunday July 23, 2023 from 1- 4 p.m. with words of remembrance being offered at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to C.N.I.B or to the charity of one’s choice.
