Moore-It is with profound heartbreak that we announce the passing of Tommy David Moore Sr. on Wednesday August 5, 2026 at the age of 77 years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and cherished friend. Left behind to mourn his passing include; his wife, Trudy Rogers-Moore; his children, Tommy Moore, Robyn Moore and Lindsay Moore; his grandchildren, Taylor Judson-Moore, Phoenix Baillie, Madison Caudle, Carson Barraclough, Shelby Dunham, Kyle Moore, Bryce Barraclough, Justin Moore, Nolan Caudle and Charley Mulyk; his great-grandchildren, Landon Aubin, Cora Peeters, Clara Corbiere and Daxson Barraclough. Tommy is also survived by; his good friend, Rick Corbiere; his step-children, Alan Rogers and Adam Schramek; step-grandchildren, Mckinley and Craig Rogers and Jaxson and Kaiden Schramek. He was predeceased by his son Alfred Moore in 2024. Tommy lived a colorful and full life wearing many hats and leaving his mark. He was a hard working man who took pride in his many years working on the locomotives with CN. It was a career that brought him tremendous pride and countless stories. Outside of work Tommy had a passion for life and the things that brought him joy. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time on the course and he had a love affair with cars, especially hot rods, the faster the better. Whether he was talking about them or simply admiring them you could always see the sparkle in his eyes. Tommy had a remarkable ability to fix just about anything. If something was broken, he would figure it out, he would make do with whatever was available and spend as long as he needed to get the job done! There was only one thing he couldn’t fix, a broken heart. His greatest love however was his family and friends, of which he has many. Tommy treasured the time he spent with the people he loved and was always there when you needed a helping hand. Tommy will be remembered for his big heart and his hardworking hands, his love of cars, golf, the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, his many stories and quick wit, his generosity, but most of all for the love and kindness he gave so freely to those around him. His absence will be deeply felt, but his stories, laughter, lessons and love will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him and to love him. Rest easy dad, you’ve earned your place in the next great adventure. You may have had many roles in life, but your greatest role was just simply being you. You will be missed more than words can say and loved for all the years to come, so ….. light them up Daddio!. In keeping with Tommy’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
