Moore-It is with profound heartbreak that we announce the passing of Tommy David Moore Sr. on Wednesday August 5, 2026 at the age of 77 years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and cherished friend. Left behind to mourn his passing include; his wife, Trudy Rogers-Moore; his children, Tommy Moore, Robyn Moore and Lindsay Moore; his grandchildren, Taylor Judson-Moore, Phoenix Baillie, Madison Caudle, Carson Barraclough, Shelby Dunham, Kyle Moore, Bryce Barraclough, Justin Moore, Nolan Caudle and Charley Mulyk; his great-grandchildren, Landon Aubin, Cora Peeters, Clara Corbiere and Daxson Barraclough. Tommy is also survived by; his good friend, Rick Corbiere; his step-children, Alan Rogers and Adam Schramek; step-grandchildren, Mckinley and Craig Rogers and Jaxson and Kaiden Schramek. He was predeceased by his son Alfred Moore in 2024. Tommy lived a colorful and full life wearing many hats and leaving his mark. He was a hard working man who took pride in his many years working on the locomotives with CN. It was a career that brought him tremendous pride and countless stories. Outside of work Tommy had a passion for life and the things that brought him joy. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time on the course and he had a love affair with cars, especially hot rods, the faster the better. Whether he was talking about them or simply admiring them you could always see the sparkle in his eyes. Tommy had a remarkable ability to fix just about anything. If something was broken, he would figure it out, he would make do with whatever was available and spend as long as he needed to get the job done! There was only one thing he couldn’t fix, a broken heart. His greatest love however was his family and friends, of which he has many. Tommy treasured the time he spent with the people he loved and was always there when you needed a helping hand. Tommy will be remembered for his big heart and his hardworking hands, his love of cars, golf, the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, his many stories and quick wit, his generosity, but most of all for the love and kindness he gave so freely to those around him. His absence will be deeply felt, but his stories, laughter, lessons and love will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him and to love him. Rest easy dad, you’ve earned your place in the next great adventure. You may have had many roles in life, but your greatest role was just simply being you. You will be missed more than words can say and loved for all the years to come, so ….. light them up Daddio!. In keeping with Tommy’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at the Royal Canadaian Naval Association, 1420 Lougar Ave., Sarnia on Sunday October 25, 2026 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Sarnia and District Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna. Messages and condolences may be left online at www.knightfuneralhome.ca Knight 519-862-2845

Tom you always made me feel welcome and a part of the family even after Alf and I were no longer together. You never failed to make me laugh and yeah we got some stories you Alf and I. You never failed to amaze me but the most rememorable thing about you that I will tell your great grand children is the relationship you had with Fred. In all my life I’ve never come across a relationship between a father and son as I did with you and Alf. I don’t cry in your passing cuz I know you’re with him now and the two of you are together forever having the time of infinity. I believe I will see you again when my time is done here. Until then tho, I will keep you alive with the memories and stories I had the pleasure of sharing with you both. May you both rock the skies and both be flying free. The love I have for you will never leave me. Goodbye my friend my father in law. I will see you again. All my love Lisa Baillie!

I remember Tommy well as he worked at the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club. Many good laughs and fun times . R I P Tom. Think of your Family and Freinds at this time .❤️
So sad. Thought I’d share my favourite memory, I was around a lot growing up, Taylor was my best friend. One night we got caught drinking ( she stayed at my house that night ) while my step dad was on parenting duty. Tom sold her car as punishment and my step dad bought it 🤣 definitely wasn’t funny then.. but it’s funny now, he was definitely strict. But so kind and loving. I’ll never forget you ❤️ rest easy, family is in my thoughts❤️❤️😔
I was saddened to hear my friend had passed I met Tom many years ago and we remained close friends throughout the years. He was always kind and quick witted and had a great laugh… I will miss his smile and the hugs he gave and our friendship. Great guy who will be missed by many RIP Tom 💔
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Tom Moore… I haven’t known Tom for very long I met him in 2023 when I bought my car from him . In those 3 years I seen a very kind jolly gentleman who’s love for his son Alfie was something I couldn’t explain I just know that Alfie was Tom’s world and he wasn’t shy to.let everyone know it when tragedy struck the family and Alfie had passed my heart was broken I just couldn’t imagine how that man must of felt no one could ever explain the pain Tom had to endure without his son by his side. I am sad for the family and friends Tom.has left behind . But I feel relief and peace knowing he no longer has to be sad because he has all he ever wanted for evermore “in the Sweet By and By” Thanks Tom for the Great Car and for someone whom I will remember forever…
Your Friend
