Gone Fishing
I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don’t worry, or feel sad for me,
I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won’t be long you will see,
Till we’re together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I’m missin’
Just tell ’em I’ve gone fishin’

    Dear Shelley and Danny
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful mom. Nancy will always have a special place in my heart. She instilled a love of the river in me that I cherish to this day. Shelley the days we spent on the water at your home are my best childhood memories. Whenever I was at your house your mom always made me feel like part of the family. She took a kid from down the street who was afraid of the water and taught me how to swim and was by our side in the dinghy as we swam to the island. That was a big accomplishment! Shelley and Danny please know that my thoughts and love are with you both. Your mom was the absolute best!
