Randy Morningstar

Morningstar- Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, Randy Allan Morningstar passed away at the age of 64. Dearest husband and best friend of Lisa (Ann White) for 35 years. Devoted father of Lynn Brown (John) of Corunna, and Kay-Leigh Morningstar of Sarnia. Cherished grandfather of Jesse, Kaydence, Landon, Ethan, Emily, Brooklyn, Wyatt, Eli, and Finley. Randy was an incredible human being with a massive heart, known by all for his selfless nature and lifelong dedication to caring for others. A proud, skilled member of the Carpenters Local #1256 for over 30 years, he was a true craftsman who loved working with his hands. His greatest joys were found in his garage and with his family. He spent countless hours fixing up and restoring his classic Jeeps, and loved taking his kids and grandkids out for rides. Family camping trips were the cornerstone of his life; Randy was happiest sitting contentedly by a roaring campfire surrounded by his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews as the family sang along, or sitting down for a legendary sibling poker game with his brothers. Loving brother of Dave (Peggy), Keith (Shelley), Leslie, Ken (Brenda), Brad (Shelley), and Carole Doran (Rick), and brother-in-law of Lynn. Predeceased by his parents, Art and Kay; sister, Shirley Burke; brother, Bruce; and grandchildren, Sawyer and Emma. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Sharon Lapier officiating. Cremation will follow. A light lunch with a time for fellowship and refreshment will be held at the Corunna Legion immediately following the service. Randy was an excellent neighbour! Any time I needed something, he was there as well as Lisa. They were my rock when my husband passed away April, 2020. I am going to miss him very much but glad he is out of pain and visiting with everyone up there.

Randy and Lisa are the finest neighbours anyone could have. Since the day they moved in next door they were kind, generous and true friends. Randy was a true hero the day of our house fire, taking in my family, rescuing my pets and going in to see if the fire was out , I will forever be grateful for his daily kindness. We adored him and will miss him every single day.
To Lisa and the family, we are a knock away, you are loved, he will be remembered! ❤️❤️❤️ Th Gignac Family
