Stacy Lynn Petrie, age 51 years of Sarnia and formerly of Corunna. Much loved mother of Ryerson (Ruby), Holden (Ava) and Roen. Stacy is also survived by the father of her children, Jim Petrie. Treasured daughter of Ivan and Ellen Lemay of Courtright. Dear sister of Marc Lemay of Courtright and JoAnn Duguay (Marc) of Manitoulin Island. Stacy will be fondly remembered by; her nieces, Rosie and Ivy; her aunts and uncles, Deanna Mundy of Brigden, Rosanne Bedard of Sarnia, Bill and Kathy Lemay of Mooretown, Shirley Saunders (late Hugh) of Sarnia, Betty and Jim Bullock of Corunna, Glen Lemay of London and Terry Mundy of Brigden. Stacy will be dearly missed by her best friend, Carrie. Numerous cousins and dear friends also survive. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Saturday September 12, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cremation has already taken place and she will be laid to rest privately in Moore-Union Cemetery at a later date. Stacy, my friend, you have been a very important part of my life. To know you is to love you. To know you is to know what true laughter feels like. I will never forget our secret late night drive to see the barenaked ladies concert in London two days after you got your licence…. As we rolled your parents car into the road to not wake them up. Getting stuck for an hour on the roller coaster at cedar point…. you laughed, I was scared, you kept me sane. I could go on and on. Thank you for your support this last little bit…. It meant the world to me.

I was so very sad to hear of this news. I met Stacey when she worked at community living. We then had a fast friendship when I moved to Sarnia and then Corunna. We had a lot of laughs and I will never forget her laughter. I fondly remember how much she loved her parents. We had some laughs in the driveway at her parents as we headed off to our various shenanigans. As we separated through the years, moves and children social media was the connection where i stayed up to date on vacations and the family. She spoke so highly of her boys and I hope your memories provide you all the most comfort. Rest in peace miss Lemay.
I first met Stacy when she worked at afton park nursing home. My father was a resident there from 2002 till 2008 and he thought the world of her
In 2023 when my ex moved into bear creek nursing home she remembered me. Stacy used to do bingos for the kinsman club so she remembered him. He always enjoyed talking to Stacy and he just found out about her passing and was very upset as he always liked Stacy Stacy is gone way too soon. May she rest in peace
Stacey was a wonderful activities director at Afton Park. As the Chaplain I always felt Stacey’s full support and confidence. Later I always looked forward to seeing her at Bear Creek in Petrolia. I was very sorry to hear of her passing and at such a young age. My prayers are with her family as they remember her with love.

I am just heartbroken in hearing that this beautiful lady has passed away. We worked together at Bear Creek Terrace formerly Fiddicks and she was such a gem to work with.
