Guthrie- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Wednesday August 16, 2017. Donna Joyce Guthrie, age 82 yrs. of Courtright. Loving partner of 29 years to Don Sheffield. Much loved mother of Shelley Guthrie (Gord Dale), Kelly Smalls and mother-in-law of Sandra Guthrie all of Courtright. Step-mother of Wendy Whitcroft (Jamie Boughner) of London. Treasured grandmother of Jared, Kaitlyn, Daniel and Amber (Jake Taylor) and step-grandmother of Maghan, Wyatt, Cassie and Danielle. Loving great-grandmother of Ariella Guthrie and Avalynn and step-great-grandmother of Logan. Donna will be lovingly remembered by; her sisters, Connie Poulson (John) of Windsor, Dianne Storey (Al) of Corunna and Karen Cervellero (Paul) of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law, Barb Little and Betty Cook and by special friends, Bev Ingles, Jackie Simmons and Bernice Burns. She was predeceased by; her husband, James Guthrie (1987); her sons, Bob Guthrie (1998) and Ron Guthrie (1998) and by her brothers, Gerry Little (2007) and Wayne Little (1991). Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway Corunna, on Monday August 21, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of life will take place at the Corunna Legion on Tuesday August 22, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. Cremation has already taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia or to the charity of one’s choice. She always knew how to make me feel better even when I have had a stressful day. She always made me feel like family and became a big part of my life. She was never happier then when she was talking about her kids and grandkids! She was so proud of everyone! I will treasure the time and recipes that she gave me and will always think of her when I am canning from her recipes! Heaven gained an angel and I know that she will always be looking over each of us!

She was always ready to have a good time and a laugh. She had a generous spirit and always brought many home made goodies for us to share. She would go out of her way to make you feel cherished and loved. She was a very special lady and losing her will be heart felt by all.
