Stewart– It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Chad Stewart, in his 39th year, our loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend to many on Friday April 7, 2023. He is survived by; his parents, Rick and Patsy Stewart, his sister, Julie (Andras); his adoring nephew and niece, Jayce and Ashley and his grandparents, Bruce and Marion (2021) Ferns, Lloyd (2010) and Lois (2005) Stewart. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Chad especially enjoyed spending quality family time watching sports on TV with his dad, going to classic car shows and being a classic car owner. He cherished his river walks with his furry best friend “Bella”. He was always so kind, caring in helping others, smiling, socializing, teasing and playfully joking with others. He had overcome so many hurdles in the past and became a hard –working young man and a proud member of LiUNA local #1089. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Sarnia and District Humane Society or to the Charity of One’s Choice. I met Chad through my daughter and he asked if I would walk Bella which I did until the end of March . Chad was just a great, down to earth guy and just loved life. Oh man to hear about Chad is just unbelievable. I worked side by side with Chad at Curran on the Hydro-vac and all he talked about was his family trips to Florida and the car shows. My sincerest condolences with Chad’s passing. As the Project Manager from Anderson Webb, I personally wanted to share that Chad was one of our most valued members on the Origin project. His was a kind and compassionate person who went the extra mile to get the job done. He thrived in his role as the Labourer Foreman and took pride in everything he did. He always had a storey to tell from going to Sarnia Sting hockey games to trips down south and everything in between. He will not be missed by a few of his co-workers – he will be missed by all 300 of them. Rest in peace good friend.
