Betty Wagner

Wagner- Peacefully at her residence on Monday August 11, 2025. Betty “Sue” Wagner (McKay), age 86 years of Sarnia. Loving wife of the late Glen “Shags” Wagner (2011). Dear mother of Greg Wagner and his wife Chriss and Peggy Davis and her husband Jim all of Sarnia. Treasured grandmother of Josh, Jessa, Kim, Erin, Aimee, Ashley, Jennifer, Jillian and Jarred and great-grandmother of 17 great- grandchildren.. Betty was predeceased by her grandsons, Braxton and Keegan, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by the many surviving Wagner family in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired in 1989 from the Dominion/A&P Store after 25 years of service. She and Glen were avid campers who especially enjoyed Fan Fair in Nashville for over 20 years and many will remember how she always looked forward to “Happy Hour”. In keeping with her wishes a private family graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Sarnia. Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of her life on Sunday September 21, 2025 from 2-5 p.m. at the Point Edward Optimist Hall, 210 Monk St. in Point Edward. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Bluewater Health Oncology Department or to the Charity of One’s Choice.
