Julia Kingston

Kingston- Unexpectedly but peacefully at her residence on Friday December 19, 2025. Julia Kingston, aged 87 years of Corunna. Much loved wife of 64 years to Robert “Bob” Kingston. Dear mother of Rob Kingston and his wife Tracy of Corunna, Cindy Restivo and her husband Al of Ancaster and Liz Geddes and her husband Chris of Cambridge Narrows NB. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Allison, Juliana, Carmela, Clayton and Emerrie and great-grandmother of Eliza. Julia was the dear sister of Helen McVicar of Corunna. She is also survived by her brother-in-law of Joe Lynch of California and by her sisters-in-law, Alice Stanik of Dresden and Pat Young of Sarnia. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by; her parents, Joe and Anna Stanik; her brothers, Louis Stanik and Joe Stanik; her sister, Ann Lynch and by her brother-in-law, Ron McVicar. Julia enjoyed a lengthy career as a registered nursing assistant having worked at the Sarnia General Hospital for many years. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Monday December 22, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday with Fr. Paul Woolley officiating. Cremation will follow and a private family graveside service will be held at St. James Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Bluewater Health Oncology Department or to the charity of one’s choice .     Later today, we were just informed of your Mom’s passing and wish were able to attend her funeral. Your family were very active participants in Christ Anglican Church in Corunna for many years. Julie was a great “pie maker “ and we enjoyed many good times in our church activities . We are keeping you in our prayers.
