Pomeroy- Peacefully at Trillium Villa Nursing Home in Sarnia on Saturday July 26, 2025. Frances “Fran” Pomeroy, aged 85 years of Corunna. Much loved wife of the late Tony Pomeroy (2024). Dear mother of Kevin Pomeroy and his wife Donna of Corunna and Kerry Pomeroy of Barrie. Loving sister of Joyce Gore and sister-in-law of Crystal Rumney both of Barrie. Fran was a special aunt to Gary and Greg Gore. She was predeceased by; her brother, George Rumney and by her brother-in-law, Robert Gore. Fran enjoyed a successful career as an elementary school teacher. In retirement she and Tony enjoyed travelling to various places such as Western Canada, Alaska and the Caribbean to name a few. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and her family will be remembering her privately. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sarnia/Lambton or to the Sarnia and District Humane Society.
