Laur- Peacefully at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia, on Sunday November 29, 2009. Alice Laur aged 99 years formerly of Courtright. Beloved wife of the late Murray J. Laur (1961). Dear mother of Wilson M. Laur and Shirley Springborn of Tuscon, Arizona. Loving grandmother of Carl Laur, Paul Laur, Donald Laur, Mary Alice Lauzon, Deborah Serio, Ann Paulson, Kathleen Getty and Murray Laur. Alice is also survived by; her daughter-in-law, Beatrice Hillis of Croswell, Mi., several great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and by dear friends Shirley Scott and Mary Sparling. She was predeceased by her son, Harold James Laur (1994) and by her sisters, Arletta Viley and Violet Snow. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Friday December 4, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Paul Woolley officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Sombra.
