Phillips- Peacefully at Marshall Gowland Manor, Sarnia on Thursday October 17, 2024. Angeline Elaine Phillips, age 81years formerly of Courtright. Much loved wife of 53 years to the late Ronald “Dan” “Jockco” Phillips, who predeceased her in October of 2023. Dear mother of Andrew Phillips and his wife Tracy of Brights Grove. Treasured grandmother of Zack and Taylor. Born in Minnesota, Angeline moved to Rockford, Illinois, where she became a registered nurse and served in the United States Air Force having achieved the rank of 1st Lieutenant. It was there that she met Ron and they were married in 1969. They eventually settled in Courtright in 1978 and where active in many community organizations including the Corunna United Church. In keeping with the families wishes cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
