O’Leary-It is with tremendous sadness we announce that Ann Louise O’Leary (nee Jeffrey) has passed away from the vicious disease known as ALS on July 8th, 2021. Ann fought this disease with her signature fierce strength and independence and she ended her battle with dignity and grace. Beloved wife of 50 years to Steve O’Leary and adored mother of Jody Derkzen (Erik), Jill Legg (Ian), Heather Adams (Bill) and Hillary Martindale (Brian). Ann was a proud daughter of Ralph and Eileen Jeffrey (predeceased) and dear sister to Bill Jeffrey, Mary Jeffrey and Joan Rotondi (Aldo). Cherished Amma (Grandma) to Troy, Ella, Joel, Nyah, Vivienne, Lexia, Tate, Gabby and Alex. Ann will be forever remembered for her style and beauty, her impressive piano playing, her passion for gardening and her perfect chocolate chip cookies. Also known for her artistic talent with drawing, sewing and interior design, as well as her love of music, which included attending concerts ranging from classical to hard rock. Ann had a sharp wit, silly sense of humour and kind heart. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. A private ceremony has already taken place at Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna ON. Messages and condolences may be left online at www.knightfuneralhome.ca Knight 519-862-2845.
