Kennedy- Peacefully after a courageous battle with leukemia, surrounded by her loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Friday December 16, 2011. Barbara Ellen Kennedy, age 63 years of Courtright. Beloved wife of 42 years to Ron. Cherished mother of Kimberly Sylvester of Courtright and Krista Kennedy of Corunna. Loving grandmother of Brayden and Nathan Sylvester. Dear sister of Elaine Nickels of Sarnia, Patty Pauling and her husband Bill of Corunna and Wally Reaume and his wife Sarah of Sarnia. She is also survived by her nephews, Brent and Craig Nickels, Corey and Randy Pauling and Jake and Luke Reaume. Barb will be lovingly remembered by her good friend Eva Brogden of Sarnia. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Rita Reaume and by her niece Jessica Reaume. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Deanna Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Moore-Union Cemetery, Mooretown.
