Fraser- Peacefully after a brief illness at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit-Sarnia, on Wednesday June 3, 2015. Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Fraser, age 91 yrs of Corunna. Beloved wife of the late Ed Fraser (1996). Loving mother of Ken Fraser and his wife Bev of Toronto, Boyd Fraser and his wife Fran of Corunna, Vaughn Fraser and his wife Leslie of Vancouver, Rod Fraser and his wife Connie of Courtright, Loretta Fraser and Mark Fraser and his wife Selena all of Corunna. Much loved grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Betty is also survived by; her sister, Anna Bernard of Campbellton, N.B. and sister-in-law, Kaye Upton of St. John, N.B. She was predeceased by; her brother, Donald Upton (1972) and sister, Nellie Keays (2012). Betty will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an active member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Corunna and was a 60 year member of St. Joseph’s C.W.L. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Sunday June 7, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Corunna on Monday June 8, 2015 at 11:0 a.m. with Fr. Jan Pochwala celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Church Building Fund or to the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
