Green-Suddenly at his residence on Sunday November 20, 2011. Bill Green, age 65 years of Corunna. Beloved husband of 47 years to Joan Green. Loving father of Tamara Green of Nanaimo, B.C. and Shane Green of Burnaby, B.C. Dear grandfather of Mathew Waybrant, Joe Green, Riley Green and Lily Green-Atterbury. Bill is also survived by his sister Betty Ann Kolody and her husband Don of Medicine Hat and by his in-laws; Bill MacKay (Judy) of Calgary, Edie MacKay (Earl Williams) of Calgary, Lucky MacKay (Sandi Aumonier) of Calgary, Ken MacKay (Marge) of Edmonton and Kathleen Nolan (Mike) of Vancouver. Bill enjoyed coaching minor sports including hockey, baseball and golf, he was an avid golf enthusiast having enjoyed playing as well as watching, he was a member of the Moore Optimist Club and had retired from Imperial Oil after 37 years of service. Friends were received at Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway Corunna on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jay Black officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to Canadian Children’s Optimist Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
