Blake Willock

Willock- Peacefully passed away at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia on Thursday April 16, 2020. Blake Harold Willock, age 93 years of Corunna and formerly of Sarnia. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jean Willock (Donnelly) after almost 70 years of marriage. Best dad to Blake (Linda) Willock, Sherrill (Dave 2019) Brown and Linda (Tobbe) Johansson. Dear Grandpa to Kristy, Kim, the late Jimmy, Jenny, Heather, Stacy, Jeff and Robert. Loving great-grandpa of 15 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Doris Cook (late Alex) and Nancy (Herb) Henkel. Predeceased by his parents Blake and Margaret, siblings Margaret (Bill) Nolan, Joe (June), Mary (Sid) Johnston, Winnie (Willie) Mallon and Anne (George) Beer. Blake also has many nieces and nephews that will lovingly remember him. He was retired from Imperial Oil and he and Betty enjoyed many years of camping with the 4 T’s Trailer Club and formed many long lasting friendships. He was also an active bowler for many years and dedicated member of All Saints Anglican Church. Blake spent many years as a Boy Scout Leader and was the recipient of the Silver Acorn from the Lieutenant Governor Pauline McGibbon for his dedication to scouting. A private family graveside service will be held and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Thanks go to the Palliative floor Nurses and Doctors and to the PSW’S who helped him during his time at home.   5. Very good memories of my time as a member of Akela Jack Easton’s 3rd Cub Pack at St. George’s Anglican Church when Blake was one of the leaders way back in the early 1950’s.
