O’NEILL, Robert- died in Freeport, Bahamas September 3rd, 2020. Robert David O’Neill, age 65 years of Freeport, Bahamas and Mitchell’s Bay, Ontario. Beloved husband of 39 years to Marlene (Storey). He will be lovingly remembered by; his ‘adopted’ daughter Jemelia Seymour (Keno Johnson); his ‘adopted’ sons: Allan Bennett Seymour (Nicole), Jesper Thompson (Dianne), Avery Rolle, Demetri Thompson (Aniskah); his ‘adopted’ grandchildren, Dennis Jamairo Seymour, Brandon Seymour; his brothers and sisters, Norm O’Neill (Jennifer) of Brigden, Anne Bainbridge (Mark) and Jim O’Neill of Corunna, and Linda Halperin (Frank) of Kelowna, B.C.; his nieces and nephews, Dan O’Neill, Emily Johnson(Andrew), Joseph and Sarah Bainbridge, Julianne Walker (Michael), Brittany O’Neill, Laura and Heather Halperin. He was predeceased by his parents David O’Neill (2014) and Marjorie (McPhail) O’Neill (2011). He will be missed by his family and many former students in the Bahamas. He taught Biology on various islands in the Bahamas and spent every summer at his cottage in Mitchell’s Bay, Ontario. A service and cremation will be held in Freeport, Bahamas. A grave side service will be held at Bear Creek Cemetery. Attendance is by invitation only due to Covid-19.In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice.     We were so shocked and saddened to learn of Robert's death.

    You are certainly in our prayer thoughts.

    We have special memories of great conversations with Robert and know that he will be missed by you and many in the Bahamas.
