Allan- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia on Saturday July 30, 2016. Brenda Joy Allan, age 75 yrs. of Corunna. Beloved wife of 55 years to Pat Allan. Much loved mother Kelly Howell, David Allan (Brenda Sue) and Stacey Allan (Kathy) all of Sarnia. Treasured grandmother of Lindsay, Miranda, Mallory, Erin, Ryan and Eamonn and great-grandmother of Zachary, Maddison, Paisley and Ashton. Loving sister of Neil Perry (Liz) of Sarnia and Ken Perry (Sandra) of Strathroy. Brenda will be lovingly remembered as Momma/Auntie Brenda to her many extended family members and will be fondly remembered as a loving and caring sister-in-law to the Allan family. She will be sadly missed by Danny. She was predeceased by; her parents, Rita (2009) and Percy (1969) Perry and by her sister, Carole Gunn (1967). Brenda was a long time member of the C.W.L. She was a huge Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays fan and was a supportive super fan to all her children and grandchildren’s sporting adventures. She retired from Suncor as a purchaser in 1999 and enjoyed her many trips abroad. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway Corunna, on Tuesday August 2, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. where Prayers will be offered at 8:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Corunna on Wednesday August 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Dan Vere celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
