Druiett-Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Saturday January 19, 2013. Carl William Druiett, age 80 years of Sarnia and formerly of the 8th Line of Moore Township. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Druiett (Classen) (2001). Loving father of David Druiett and his wife Lyn of Brights Grove and Carol-Anne Stephenson and her partner Tony Bush of London. Dear grandfather of Joel, Coty (Luke), Jaime, Brandon and Nathan. Carl was also a soon to be great-grandfather. He is also survived by; his sister, Anita Brown of Boyle, Alberta; his step-sister, Lou Sist of Michigan and by sisters-in-law, Marilyn, Edith and Judy. He was predeceased by; his son, Terry(1982); his brothers, Orville, Harvey, Jack and Leonard and by brother-in-law, Paul Brown and by his parents Clarence and Viola. Carl worked for many years with Goodfellow Construction, Sarnia Cranes and especially enjoyed his time working for the Ministry of Transportation ploughing snow. He was a lifelong farmer and well respected within many circles including the Corunna United Church Amicitia Club, Lambton County Historical Society and the Western Ontario Steam Threshers to name a few. He especially enjoyed camping in his Jayco Greyhawk motorhome with his camping group friends. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Tuesday January 22, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. George Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery.
