Charles "Chuck" Maidment

Maidment- Charles “Chuck” Kennedy Maidment passed away peacefully Jan.26, 2020 at the Bluewater Health- CEE Hospital, Petrolia at the age of 70 years. He was born in Sarnia, May 17, 1949 and was the eldest son of Chuck & Betty Maidment. Chuck was predeceased by; his fathe , Chuck (1988) and younger brother, Dan Maidment (2016). Memories will be cherished by his loving wife, Marlyn (Brown) of Corunna; his mother, Betty Maidment and sister Lynne (Doug) Thorson, Ponoka, Alberta. Even though distance separated them, Chuck was especially close to his Alberta nieces and nephews, Leanna (Chris Musson) and Laura (Elijah Mitchell) and great niece and nephew, Lilly and Hemi Mitchell.
Also surviving are; brothers-in-law, Glen Brown and his daughter Jennifer and Darrell Brown; his sister-in-law, Tania Maidment; his niece Lori Maidment and her children Nolan and Hunter and by his nephew, Craig Maidment (Katie) and their children Grayson and Nash. Many thanks are to be extended to the nurses and support staff at both Bluewater Health, Sarnia and Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital, Petrolia for their compassionate care. Words cannot express our gratitude. Special thanks also goes out to Lori and Tania for all of your care.
In keeping with Chuck's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will take place at Beechwood Cemetery, Forest at a later date. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made in Chuck's memory to Bluewater Health Foundation, Alzheimer Society or your charity of choice.
