Russell- Peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Thursday June 23, 2016. Charles D. Russell, age 78 years following a 3 year battle with Wegener’s Gramulatosis. Loving father of Chuck (Holly) and Ruth (Bud). Loving remembered by Connie Russell. Much loved brother of Steve, Herbert, Winnifred and Dorothy. Charles with be fondly remembered by his special friend and partner, Harriett Harsen. He will be dearly missed by his 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by; his son, Michael; his parents, Mable and James; his sister, Marjorie and by his brother Eugene. Charlie was well known for hunting and trapping, having worked for many years in construction and for the time he spent bartending at the Courtright Hotel.
