Donahue-It is with a tremendous amount sorrow and grief that we announce the unexpected passing of Christopher John “CJ” Donahue , age 22 yrs. of Courtright on Thursday July 17, 2014. CJ was the loving son of Mark and Lori Donahue. Much loved brother of Michael Donahue of Courtright and Amberlee Donahue of Sarnia. Also left to mourn his passing are; his grandparents, John and Bonnie Giffen of Corunna, Larry and Bonnie Donahue of Courtright; great-grandfather, Don Walton of Corunna; aunts and uncles, Michael Giffen (Fernanda) of Strathroy, Lisa Kameka (Fabian) of Sarnia, Christine Morrison (Lenny) of Mitchell and Stephen Donahue (Anne) of Wasaga Beach and numeorus cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his great-grandparents-most recently, Shirley Walton and Marjorie Giffen. CJ was an avid baseball player who played the game with all his heart and determination and enjoyed a lazy Sunday round of golf with his friends. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Wednesday July 23, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Cremation has already taken place. A private family graveside interment service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Corunna/Courtright Minor Ball.
