Dawson- Peacefully at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia following a brief battle with cancer on Saturday August 1, 2015. Chuck Dawson, age 58 yrs. of Corunna. Dear brother of Jim Dawson of Red Deer, Ken Dawson and Wendy Walker and her husband Paul all of Sarnia. Treasured uncle of Shannon, Quinton, Liam, Greg (Heidi) and Pam. Chuck was a special friend of Marianne, Mark, Amanda, Marilynn, Mamie and Mitchell Hay all of Sombra. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward Bain Dawson (1971) and Norma Jean Dawson (2002). He was a longtime owner/operator of Chuck Dawson Trucking Ltd. and he will be fondly remembered as a dedicated family man and friend who would help anyone in any way. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday August 6, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Deanna Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice.
