O’Neill- Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Friday December 5, 2014. David Robert O’Neill, age 89 years of St. Clair Township. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie (McPhail) (2011). He will be lovingly remembered by; his children, Bob O’Neill (Marlene) of the Bahamas, Norm O’Neill (Jennifer) of Brigden, Anne Bainbridge (Mark) of Corunna, Jim O’Neill (Patti) of Corunna and Linda Halperin (Frank) of British Columbia; his grandchildren, Dan O’Neill, Emily Johnson, Joseph and Sarah Bainbridge, Julianne Walker, Brittany O’Neill, Rebecca and Andrea Cole, Laura and Heather Halperin and by great-granddaughter, Jody Lynn Johnson. Dave is also survived by his sisters, Marion Marshall and Shirley Kent. He was predeceased by his sister Eula Kirk. He will be missed by his family and many friends in the farming community. He lived a simple life on the farm, always being extremely proud to call himself a farmer. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway Corunna, on Sunday December 7, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Corunna United Church, 198 Hill St., Corunna on Monday December 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery.
