Hunt- Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Marshall Gowland Manor, Sarnia on Thursday June 23, 2016. Denis Hunt, age 86 years formerly of Corunna. Beloved husband of 61 years to Margaret Hunt. Much loved father of Carol Hayward (Randy Haddon) of Sarnia and David Hunt (Kimberley) of Bright’s Grove. Loving grandfather of Nathan, Josh, Megan, Andrew, Matthew and Cameron. Denis is also survived by his special niece Sandra Wardell of Sarnia. Denis was a retiree of Polysar after 35 years of service. Cremation has already taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held in Moore-Union Cemetery, Mooretown on Monday June 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Blair Corcoran officiating. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Marshall Gowland Manor for the care and compassion shown to Denis over the last several years. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society. Arrangements are entrusted to the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna.
