What a great man Don was! I was so very blessed to have worked with & also had Don take me under his wing. Don was more than a sounding board when I needed to ask a question or for his vast expertise/knowledge. He was like a second father to me and also many other coworkers as well. Thank you for everything Don, your smile and friendly demeanour will be missed by us all! To Betty Ann, Bob, Brian, Brenda & Families know that your Husband, father & grandfather was very a special person that we all had the joy of knowing. We have many great memories but nothing like I am sure you all do of having him as the matriarch of your family! Rip Don.

We have many incredible memories of our time with Don and his family during our summers at Gilles Lake. So loving, kind and had a great sense of humour. My Mom remembered how he always had dog treats on him when he went for a walk showing his love of dogs. Don was like family to us. Even though the year put some distance between us, our heart was always with them. Heaven gained another angel, and Don will spoil all the dogs in heaven. Sending our love and heartfelt condolences to the entire family. Rest in Paradise, Don. You were one of a kind. Thank you for being you. 💕🙏🏻🙏🏻💕

  7. Our memories of Don go back to the time when he was first dating Betty Ann and his love for her has been steady and strong throughout the years until his passing..
They have been very faithful to their belief in God and we are certain that today Don is enjoying the fruits of living his Catholic faith so well.
Don, along with Betty Ann, were a wonderful example to their children who, as well, live that example of showing love and care to their families and to all others in their lives.
May we emulate this loving care in our dealings with others..and may God Bless and be with Betty Ann and the family in their time of sorrow..
    With love and sincere sympathy,
    Sandra and John Van Raay
