Dear Olive, We are very sorry for your loss. The man we casually knew as “DT” touched so many hearts young and old through life. Whether at work or in everyday meetings, the man always put his “spin” on whatever was up for discussion. We all know how many young hearts he touched during the Christmas holidays and we will be forever thankful! He will never be forgotten! Hang on to all the memories.
My deepest sympathy to you Olive. Hold memories close to you.
Take Care

You both have lived your lives as such selfless people and deserved the best in retirement. We hope in time , you can find peace and comfort in all the fond memories you crated and all the joy you have brought to so many people. Stay safe and stay strong.

My Poem To Don.
(Sending this “Don” style)
You were my sunshine
But now my rain
You were my happiness
But now my pain
You were my smiles
But now my tears
You were my rock
But now my fears
You made me laugh
You made me cry
But I never wanted
To say good-bye
Your words, your truths
I did admire
We had a friendship
“Caught on fire”
You were my love
My heart was full
But now my heart
Has got a hole
I love you Don
My BESTEST friend
I’ll miss you TIL
We meet again
XOXOXO

Hi
I knew Don growing up in Oil Springs. We played together often from Grade 1 and up. I lost track of him after school, and moved away for my career. I heard from a friend about his passing and wanted to extend my condolences. I have good memories of our time as young kids.
Sending our sincere condolences to you Olive and your family at this sad time. We have good memories of Dow Days. Take care and keep your great memories of Don in your heart.
Sincerely Mark and Lorraine Guthrie.

Olive and family – So sorry to hear that Don has passed. We have lots of great memories, particularly when Don played Santa every year at the Union Gas Children's Christmas party. Although they didn't know at the time that it was Don, they still remember him, his HO HO HO and, of course, his chuckle. My heart goes out to you.
Olive,
I was so sorry to read of Don’s passing. You shared a very special bond and love that was so evident every time you spoke of him. Our sincere sympathy and our prayers are with you at this very sad time.
Sincerely, Karen & Gord Ryan
