  1. A great aunt to have; always up-beat and friendly, tolerated the Holbrook invasion very well at every visit. She led a good, long life, surrounded by lots of loving family – success by any definition. Our condolences to all of the Stacey cousins.

I lived next door to Stacey’s while growing up and then when I got married and had my 3 girls we lived beside them again. Doris and Bob were great neighbours and always spoiled my girls. It’s sad to hear of her passing but happy she is with Bob and her son Al again.

Sincere and heart-felt condolences from myself and our family.

Aunt Dorris was always one of the most genuinely friendly and kind people I’ve ever known. She was always sincerely happy to see us and be around us. I will never forget that “warmth” she exuded.

It’s actually very easy to always remember Aunt Dorris smiling and laughing because most of the time she was. She will be missed by myself and many others and I know that you will all miss her dearly.

I’m very sorry that we won’t be at the funeral tomorrow to give hugs and and express our thoughts in person. We just started our summer vacation (Portugal) and won’t be back in time. I hope it helps in some small way, to know that our thoughts have frequently been with the Stacey family over the past couple days as you grieve this huge loss. We will continue to think of you and send our love as you say goodbye to an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister. She will definitely be missed!
