Vidler– Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday March 14, 2023. Doris Lenore Vidler, age 88 years of Courtright. Loving and devoted wife for 64 years to Walter. Much loved mother of John (Maria) Vidler of Airdrie, AB, Anne Marie Hickmott of London  and Marieanne (Mike) Miller of Sarnia. Treasured grandmother of Ryan Vidler, Danny Miller, Ryan Van Zandt, Lisa Odem and Dana Blair. Doris is also survived by her sister, Kay Green of Zurich. She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Massender and by her brothers, Jack Willimot and Tom Willimot. Doris enjoyed her time as a member of The Triple C Carvers in Sarnia. Her family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Evan Lilly, Brittany from Bayshore Health Care Solutions and the entire palliative care team for the compassion and care shown to Doris and her family during her final days. In keeping with the families wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia.
