Connie,
My condolence on the passing of Doug. I still think back to those simpler times many years ago when you and Doug were a young married couple living beside Jean and Graydon. I even recall babysitting for you one night when you lived on the “Second Line”

Deepest condolences to Aunt Connie & the family on the passing of Uncle Doug.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
I have many fond memories of him. He used to always do this snake bite thing to my arm as a kid & I always cried, & he always gave me money. Plus on a few occasions, they would take me camping. Lots of fun times.
May he RIP.
Love Penny

When I Think Of Death:
Maya Angelou
When I think of death, and of late the idea has come with alarming frequency, I seem at peace with the idea that a day will dawn when I will no longer be among those living in this valley of strange humors.
I can accept the idea of my own demise, but I am unable to accept the death of anyone else.
I find it impossible to let a friend or relative go into that country of no return.
Disbelief becomes my close companion, and anger follows in its wake.
I answer the heroic question 'Death, where is thy sting? ' with ' it is here in my heart and mind and memories.'
