Brandon- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer at Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit- Sarnia on Wednesday February 17, 2016. Elizabeth “Betty” Brandon, age 77 yrs. of Mooretown. Loving wife of the late Norman Brandon (2012). Dear mother of Wayne and Nancy Brandon, Alan and Kim Brandon, Brad and Chantal Brandon, Eric and Janice Brandon and Andy Brandon and Laurie Lapier. Treasured grandmother of Adam (Lindsay), Brianne (Jon), Jordan, Nic, Kalyn, Seana, Brody, Jessica (Richard), Shane, Travis (Melanie), Cara, Erica (Josh), Erin (Bob), Keegan, Tyler, Troy, Craig (Alisa), Karla and Kalie. Much loved great-grandmother of 13 great-grandchildren. Betty was a much loved sister of, Peggy (Dan) Mullen, Jean (Louis) English, Jay (Claudette) Johnston, Mary Ellen (Jack) Charron, Pete (Margie) Johnston, Sherri (Bill) Vandevenne and Terry (Ron) Castaldi. She was predeceased by; her grandson, Kyle (2013); her brothers and sisters-in-law, Don (Louise) Johnston and Larry (Nancy) Johnston and by her sister and brother-in-law, Pene (Orville) Moore. Betty was a longstanding member of the St. Charles C.W.L., was an avid supporter of the Antique and Classic Car Club and was “family famous” for her apple pie. Friends will be received at Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Friday February 19, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Corunna on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia.
