White- Peacefully at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit in Sarnia on Friday August 25, 2017. Eric Riley John White, age 70 yrs. of Mooretown. Beloved husband of 41 years to Kathryn. Much loved father of Kristine White and Steven (Cassie) White. Loving son of Elsie Steels. Eric is also survived by 9 brothers and sisters and by many cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Riley and Ida White and by his uncle, Stuart White. Eric was fond and proud of his roots in and around the Inwood area and he was a proud and dedicated member of the UAW. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway Corunna, on Monday August 28, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Blair Corcoran officiating. Interment will follow in Moore-Union Cemetery, Mooretown. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Inn of The Good Shepherd or to the Sarnia and District Humane Society. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to all of you at this difficult time; Eric was one of a kind. He was the best work partner one could ever have imagined; and we remained friends even after he was moved to another part of the factory. I will miss our conversations, and laughs ….. but most of all the stories that he shared about all of you, and how much he loved you all. My heart just sank when I got the news, Kathy please know that if you need anything …. don’t hesitate to call.

I am so sorry to hear of Eric’s passing…You were good neighbours for a lot of years…take care and you are all in my thoughts and prayers..

I knew Eric from Waterville and I’m very sad to hear of his passing.
